Case Report Competition Winter 2018
SAMSoc invites submissions from vets in practice, residents and interns for our case report competition which will take place on Friday 2nd November at our Winter Meeting in Loughborough.
Suitable cases should have interesting discussion points but need not be so unusual that they would be considered publishable. Two cases will be selected by the Committee for presentation at the meeting (each of approximately 12 minutes' duration). Cases will be selected for presentation based upon their originality, the quality of the medical investigation performed, the validity of the conclusions drawn and the quality of the abstract. This is an excellent opportunity for general practitioners, interns and residents alike to share interesting cases and improve presentation skills in a friendly environment. The audience will select the winning report via a ballot vote at the meeting.
The Successful Two Candidates Will Be Eligible For Free Registration To The SAMSoc Meeting. The Best Case Report Presentation Will Be Voted For By The Audience For Great Prizes generously donated by VetIndex:
£300 for first place
£150 for second place
