Veterinary surgeons are invited to attend the SAMSoc Spring 2023 meeting on Wednesday 22 March, our annual pre-BSAVA Congress event.
We are still working to bring you informative and interesting sessions on a range of subjects, and will continue to add to this programme of confirmed speakers over the coming weeks.
Spring 2023 case report / research presentation Competition
We are welcoming case report / research presentation entries describing interesting or unusual cases or research projects for our Spring 2023 meeting. The oral presentations will be 12 minutes and should describe conditions affecting either cats or dogs.
Submission
To be eligible for competition you must submit a written abstract which is less than 250 words to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please submit using a Microsoft Word document or a pdf document. The closure date and time is 1st March 2023 at 23:59 GMT. Applications after this will not be considered. Successful candidates will be informed by 23:59 GMT on 8th March 2023.
Judging
The SamSoc committee will select the best abstracts to be delivered to meeting delegates. The primary author must attend the meeting to present and reply to any questions during the 2023 Spring meeting.
Successful candidates will be invited to present a 12 minute oral presentation. Use of Microsoft PowerPoint using the SamSoc template is encouraged. Please include a title page to present the title and author(s), and a disclosure page to present any conflict of interest and details of funding.
On the day of the Spring meeting, the winning entry / entries will be selected using a voting system by delegates. We look forward to receiving your entry.
